1,358 SaaS tools. One question each: can AI replace it?
A live, searchable archive of SaaS tools rated against what the big AI labs now ship for free.

Outcomes
- 1,358 tools rated, each with the reason behind its verdict and free alternatives
- Tracks $61K+ per month in subscriptions that AI can already replace
- Search, filter, sort and compare up to four tools side by side, with shareable URLs
- A public real-time visitor dashboard that proves traffic to sponsors
The problem
Teams keep paying for SaaS subscriptions that ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini now cover out of the box, but there was no single place to check which tools are actually at risk and what to use instead.
What I built
A static-first Astro site with small React islands for search, filters, comparison and voting. The dataset lives in Supabase and is fetched at build time, falling back to a bundled copy if the database is unreachable. It includes a graveyard, a quarter-by-quarter timeline, category and company hubs, auto-generated OG images, an RSS feed and a /live page: a privacy-safe, country-level real-time dashboard with a canvas globe, powered by a Supabase edge function. A sponsor slot system turns the traffic into revenue.
